June 29, 2012 1:05 pm I had the same reaction to the word balloon in Spider-Men. At first I was like "Dammit Bendis!!!" but then I started reading and found it thoroughly enjoyable, I don't understand why he doesn't seem to bring that level of writing to his Avengers stuff though
