December 26, 2012 3:22 pm I'm thrilled to see Fantagraphics' Carl Barks collections in your #1 spot, and I couldn't agree more. Those things are must-owns for every fan of comics history and/or all-ages material.
December 13, 2012 8:14 am I don't understand this comment. You haven't read the issue... you had a panel spoiled for you out of context... and from that you can infer that "no respect is being given to these characters"? I read the comic, and know the moment you're speaking of. I've read every issue of the comic that character is from and would say that LOTS of respect is given to that character. Just because something bad happened to them doesn't mean no respect was paid.
December 3, 2012 5:48 pm This is very sad, the end of an era. Although if she started up Berger Comics I would try every book in the launch line-up.
December 3, 2012 10:58 am That is to say, "100% behind" the choice.
December 3, 2012 10:57 am I'm 100% the Adrien Brody choice.
November 5, 2012 9:14 pm My love of Tony Moore trumps my hatred of Deadpool. I'll try it.
November 1, 2012 6:44 pm Damnit, just saw the no lists rule. Sorry. If it's any consolation I eventually narrowed it down to Locke & Key.
November 1, 2012 6:40 pm For me, when it comes to best comic being published right now, there are three that step away from the pack: Locke & Key, Saga and Punk Rock Jesus. All three are dazzling, issue after issue. The artwork is spectacular, the characters are engaging and I genuinely can't wait until the next issue. If I had to pick my favourite of the three I'd give it to Locke & Key. But it would be close.
October 30, 2012 6:33 pm I've been loving this. Hope lots of people check it out in trade.
October 17, 2012 10:48 pm Enjoy! These are great issues!
