July 9, 2009 9:10 pm Idont know, I guess I'm a novice when compared to the rest of you. Someone please explain why everyone cares so much about Marvel, DC,blah, blah. A good book is a good book, right? What difference does it make? Ok, that's out of the way, fuck the price, I loved it. When I first saw it was on news print, I hesitated. As Connor said though, if those things bother you, you've missed the point of Wednesday comics.

July 6, 2009 9:18 pm I got lucky at Heroscon in Charlotte and met Mark Waid. He couldn't have been nicer. I got his autograph on the first three issues of Irredeemable and Cap. #600. I read all three that day and, wow! Awsome! #4 didn't disappoint. Can't wait till next month.

July 6, 2009 9:02 pm I came in to comics late. A year ago (at 33) after seeing The Dark Knight, I needed more Batman. So I picked up a comic. Long story short, I wasn't crazy about Bruce Wayne being killed off when I was just getting started. But I kept reading, and Grant Morrison has won me over in a huge way. From JLA, to All Star Superman, to Batman & Robin, he had hooked me. I'm now spending every spare moment (and every spare dollar) playing catch up reading trades. And a quick thank you to ifanboy for the great show and website. You guys have helped fill in the blanks and directed me to some great books. Thanks
