January 19, 2012 11:42 am "When you think about Vertigo, it’s this notion of good vs. evil in many of the stories." As opposed to superhero comics?
January 9, 2012 2:12 pm If by "the other night" you mean "last night", then I think I tried watching the Incredible Hulk pilot at the exact same time you did. Weird! But yes, I don't need to watch any more episodes. My internet-addled brain mostly can't handle the pace. He saved that kid from the lake for like 20-30 minutes.
December 5, 2011 6:42 pm I thought the Scarlet Spider was Ben Reilly. Who's Kaine?
December 5, 2011 12:44 pm Yeah, I agree with you on The Muppets, but I'm having a hard time expressing it. It was funny, by far the funniest The Muppets have been in years, but it felt...wrong. SPOILERS: The whole subtext of the movie, with the oil man buying out the rights and the way it ends (pre-credits) is like "The big corporation may own our rights, but everyone loves us and WE'RE STILL THE MUPPETS! YEAH!" But Jim Henson died, and Frank Oz wanted nothing to do with this. You're not still the muppets. You're the guys who bought the muppets' puppets. Did anyone else read this? http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/motion-captured/posts/the-bigger-picture-muppets-avengers-and-life-in-the-age-of-fanfiction
November 14, 2011 10:56 am I love Paul Grist. I hope he makes comics for the rest of my life.
October 28, 2011 3:50 pm I really love this comic. More than any single issue in probably years. I'm not sure WHY, but I do. Is Marvel going day-and-date digital with X-books yet? I'd like this to be the first series I get directly on a Kindle Fire.
October 28, 2011 3:32 pm I think they're Bamfs, like in the Nightcrawler mini from the 80's.
October 4, 2011 2:10 pm It's been a pleasure listening to the podcasts, man.
October 4, 2011 1:17 pm I did not know that.
