April 2, 2011 10:25 pm All of the retro covers are great, but what stands out to me most is that on the Mags cover, they've managed to capture that sort of authentic photographic image quality that came with the limitations of print technology of the time. Look at any old National Geographic from that era to see what I mean. Very cool from a graphic design standpoint.

April 2, 2011 1:36 pm That said, to keep things positive, I am one Marvel Zombie who is *not* scoffing at DC's attempt to bring this character to the big screen. Green Lantern fans have got to be really stoked, and I hope it lives up to their expectations. :)

April 2, 2011 1:34 pm My only problem with the mask is that it is completely ineffectual AS a mask. I know that's kinda true of all superhero "domino-style" face accessories, but in this case it's a little worse because there is no way I would look at this be-masked face and not know it's Ryan/Hal. If "the ring will create a mask for him if he chooses to conceal his identity" (paraphrasing), you'd think it would try to be a bit more...concealing.
