January 13, 2011 10:07 pm I think it's the joining with anime festival that led to huge increase of attendance at nycc. Well and it was like almost 2 years since the last one. Its great that now they stick with October. It's much warmer. As for space, javits center was doing expansion. That's why it was crowded. This year should have more floor space for more people. I do get a bit annoyed with the anime crowd. May be because of a huge age gap between the 2 groups.

January 13, 2011 9:44 pm @PaulMontgomery  it's edo period. so i assume the villain is Tokugawa Ieyasu. i think it would be better if it takes place during the meiji period instead. A bit more modernized and of course it would be the last samurais.
It was a bit odd to see The Hulk as one of the 5 ronins, but I wonder how it's like.

January 13, 2011 9:15 pm a good episode on jim lee. with his art, his business, and how his style doesn't seem to fit DC. I like this episode. sux I'll never get a sketch from him ever. =(

January 12, 2011 2:52 am Congratulations for the 10 years!!! Just like many people who has stumble upon to your site, you guys brought me back to the world of comics. before iFanboy, I only reached to the point only buying y the last man, runaways, and new avengers. If it wasn't for the videos, I wouldn't know that getting them in trades is ok. I don't have to think about how to find the missing issues when i'm out of the country. iFanboy was the one who introduce me to comic cons. I have never been to one before until I saw those con videos. So I to say "thank you" to iFanboy for everthing with comics. Without the site, I wouldn't be able to meet other people who love comics just like I do.

January 5, 2011 3:12 pm I'm glad I bought Cowboy Ninja Viking in trade. I can't see myself buying it monthly after I read it. I dont like the monochrome color for each issue. I'm surprised that you haven't read irredeemable. It's been our for at least 2 years already.

@conor  Did Blackest Night or Brightest Day ever get picked for POTW? I'm even surprised that they were not repeated.
