Damian’s confrontation with Talia was a little meh, but I like where this is going.

Wow … I don’t usually get weepy at the end of a comic book … but DAMN!

March 3, 2012 10:35 am Have you read Secret Warriors? Seems to me that approach to the Avengers would be interesting and fun.
March 3, 2012 10:34 am I would think that eye contact would be challenging for creative types who are as cerebral as Hickman. He is constructing such incredibly sophisticated, richly detailed and elaborate universes to stage his stories in that talking about them requires a great deal of processing and recall I would imagine. At least that's my impression.
March 3, 2012 10:19 am Which episode? I don't recall hearing it. Were the bashing the story or the recent art?
March 1, 2012 12:26 am Can't wait to read this, and don't care how long it takes. Hmm ... with a print run under 3,000 and James Stokoe doing ALL the work he can take as much time as he wants.
February 15, 2012 12:40 am LOL! The irony is that the fetishization of the abnormally bulked up masculine form of the Liefeld era X-Force now seems in retrospect so ... GAY! ;P
February 13, 2012 11:39 pm haha ... I think we do. Kevin is an innocuous gay character for Archie Comics ... the interesting thing is off the top of my head I can't think of any non-masculine gay characters in comics ... although Shatterstar has been far more sensitive lately. ;)
February 13, 2012 11:32 pm cheers ... I'm a noob too ... :)
February 12, 2012 11:13 am That would be interesting, although I wonder how all the flash forwards/backwards/sideways would work in the comics medium. Even though the finale provided a definitive ending to the series, there was a LOT of unseen content and action that would provide rich resources for an ongoing comic book.
February 11, 2012 5:33 pm Can't say I'm surprised by this, having suffered through Project Superpowers. This hasn't been very different in scheme and concept than that series unfortunately.
February 11, 2012 5:19 pm @DescendantDroog: The first ten issues of Madame Xanadu are stunning, if you're looking for more of Amy Reeder's work. Very rich and detailed. Parts of the story takes place in Paris and London, so there are plenty of opportunities for finely detailed backgrounds.
