Why is it so hard to make a good Punisher movie? I don't want to judge a movie before I see it, but I have zero hope for War Zone. Punisher, if anything, should be the easiest comic book adaption due to it's realistic nature and concept.

 Feh.

 Hulk was fun, Iron Man was better, Dark Knight was a revelation.

The song is "The Beginning is the End of the Beginning" by the Smashing Pumpkins. Alternatively, there is a faster, more rock version called "The End is the Beginning of the End". Both were featured on the Batman & Robin soundtrack, but you can get them on itunes.

July 18, 2008 10:49 am Quick question - does anybody know if the newest prints of the Watchmen TPB feature the new coloring that was in the Absolut edition? Or is there anything on the horizon with a new run of the TPB to tie-in with the movie that might feature the new coloring job?

July 15, 2008 10:42 pm I was starting to get a little tired of Millar post-Ultimates, but between this and the Old Man Logan story currently being spun in Wolverine, I've found myself remembering why I liked the crazy Scotsman so much in the first place. Kick-Ass, take it or leave it, but 1985 has been a real surprise and shows legitimate growth as a writer.

The first ish of this arc didn't really speak to me as much the the previous ones under the Brand New Day imprint, hopefully this pulls me in more. Of course, either way I'll pick it up -- gots ta have me Spidey fix.
