December 19, 2012 8:52 am Is that Hit-Girl on the cover? ;)
December 17, 2012 1:12 pm I need an atlas out when I read this book, and that's a good thing.
December 16, 2012 7:53 pm Seeing Christopher Mitten on art duties reminded me of his work on Bad Medicine. Is that series still active or ended?
December 13, 2012 9:49 am I guess we'll disagree here because I am LOVING The Massive. But I am utterly fascinated with the idea of an environmental global catastrophe and how we would react and live afterwards, plus I love ships and the ocean, and the moral/ethical conflict depicted in the series so far. Great stuff.
November 30, 2012 11:17 am I haven't read Thor #2 yet, but is that old King Thor in the top right corner or is that Odin? Just reminds me so much of Anthony Hopkins' Odin that it's skewing my perception a bit I think.
November 20, 2012 7:03 pm I skipped the last issue...hopefully I didn't miss anything too crucial to the longform story.
November 20, 2012 9:57 am Agreed. Dark Horse has been delivering on their "Dark Horse Knows Horror" advertising. I just wish my fireplace were working so I could read these next to a fire.
November 17, 2012 9:15 pm I'm hoping this is more grounded in reality than that. I read the scene where she says "We're not pirates" as something where Cal just repeats almost like a husband and wife would, like "yes hun, I know you're right" kind of thing. Cal is torn because he needs to get his crew supplies, but at the price of breaking his non-violence code?
November 17, 2012 7:58 pm One of the finest examples of the comic form I could ever show someone. Amazing stuff. I hope Hill and Rodriguez continue to work together long after this series ends.
November 5, 2012 8:55 pm Loving the horror genre resurgence in comics!
