Bio: I'm a 28 year old married geek from Western Mass. I've been reading comics and graphic novels in earnest since about '99, so my tastes and pulls usually correspond with readers a few years younger than me. Though I started reading most of the comics in the very late 90s, my first brush with them actually started in '92 when i read and collected Spider-Man 2099. I'm proud to say that i bought my first comics from a newsstand...not a comic store. I think every kid should experience comics like that.My genre tastes focus more on Superheroes, Politics/Intrigue, Slice of Life, and Crime Fiction. My favorite series (from the big two) to date are Gotham Central, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, and Young Justice. There are too many favorite indie comics for me to list here.

while i loved this issue, i had the feeling of "is this all there is?" bendis is a master at decompression, and while i love it usually, hes really writing for the trade on this one. a lot of talk, a lot of set up, not so much on the pay off. worth the money, but don't expect a lot from it.
