November 30, 2009 7:20 pm Since moving the focus of the story away from main character of the first 2-3 arcs, the book felt like it was a little muddled - as the cast expanded, the timeline slowed down.. better in trade, I think, but I'm still loving this title, and look forward to it.

I pulled it this week, but its on my "wait to read" shelf because I can't find #2 anywhere local.. and I'm one of those "must read things in order" freaks :)

I got suckered into Ultimate X-Men back around TPB Vol 10, and I've stuck with it, much to my personal frustration.  I keep feeling like nothing new is happening, the past 4 or 5 trades, like the characters got caught in amber, frozen, no longer allowed to evolve or change... and then Vol 18 comes along and retcons everything away.

*sigh*

Why do I put up with this?
