Name: Christopher Wiezorek

Bio: I live in Baltimore, MD with my wife and dog. I am a freelance film / video worker. I specialize in camera department. I am working to finish up my latest short film "Lapse" and to start up work on a feature to be shot at some point in 2011. Oh yeah... Comics. I like comics. I have been reading for most of my 27 years, but can say that I have been consistently reading for the last 15. Super heroes have always been my bread and butter, but lately I'm kind of burnt out on them. Got any suggestions? I'd love to hear them. I'm down with most Vertigo stuff.

October 11, 2010 3:53 pm @Doddsickle - If you are enjoying anthology types of series right now you should check out the Liberty Comics Annual that came out last week. Lots of great creators doing anything from pin-ups to couple page shorts. I think it was the third in the series. The other two were really good. They also benefit the CBLDF. Track down the first Strange Tales Vol released last year. Finally, you may want to check out the Vertigo Resurrected Winter's Edge issue coming out in December. It is a reprint issue, but it is 100 pages collecting various stories from tons of different Vertigo creators like Gaiman, Azzarello, Pope, Vaughn and featuring characters like The Endless, Swamp Thing, Hellblazer, etc. If you're at all unfamiliar with the Vertigo line it looks like it will be a nice primer.
October 11, 2010 3:46 pm Well, #80 is in December's Previews. That means the earliest issue #84 comes out would be April. The usually do a trade a month or two after that (so say May or June), we might get lucky and have it released the same time as the trade, but I wouldn't count on it. If I had to guess I would estimate it shipping around July - September next year. I'm hoping I'm wrong and Orionthx is right though! I just think that Image enjoys selling these books 4 times over (single issue, tpb, hc, omnibus).

Agreed.

October 4, 2010 4:25 pm Jason Aaron's run is pretty awesome. @NawidA: Tony Moore does some of the art, I think one arc, it may only be two issues. I think it is completely worth getting if you are into things like ninja nuns, talking eyeballs, Ghost Riders on all sorts of vehicles including a shark, etc. I can't say I've read every Ghost Rider story ever, but I certainly liked this one to the point that it is really the only GR stuff I would recommend to anyone.
October 4, 2010 4:17 pm What is Clint? The solicit reads like Kick Ass 2, but I have no idea what this is.
