April 17, 2012 8:19 pm Wait a minute... Wasn't this Absolute supposed to be released in October? What gives?
June 25, 2011 3:39 pm I like the story.  It's been getting more intense as the issues progress.  Wonder what is happening and how long is the hiatus?

I grew up listening to Ray Charles as a kid,  As a "frustrated" musician, Ray was the 'once in a lifetime' kind of performer you marveled at.  NO one can 'turn" a song or "carry" a song like Ray.  I didn't realize at the time he was alive that I was listening to "genius".

I wonder if we truly, truly realize the talent the world lost Monday.  I got that "Ray" vibe during one of the episodes of the Justice League Unlimited run.  I can remember being stunned and motionless, quite bewildered for a few moments at the end of the show.   I thought to myself that this "cartoon" story quality was stonger and more captivating than many primetime shows.   I made it a point to look for the writer.   That writer was Dwayne McDuffie.

This along with other writers' works like "Identity Crisis" rekindled my return back to DC.   I've been an ongoing, monthly consumer /collector of DC since 2005.  Dwayne's stories in movies, TV and comics is largely responsilbe for keeping me connected to the DC culture.

Dwayne - there are very few writers who can "carry" a story like you.  The world has lost a monumental talent.   RIP.  I will miss connecting to your stories, as only you can tell them.

February 4, 2011 11:01 pm @Paul  Ditto.   I felt the writing for this episode was superior.   The Connor / Supes dynamic they are strongly playing up is really well done.   I've been looking for another kickbutt animation show to soothe the Justice League / Unlimited bruise when it stopped production.  Looks as if Young Justice is that salve.  Well done DC.
July 27, 2010 10:58 pm Frickin' GREAT @$$ movie!

Didn't anyone else get the "General Lane" reference in the couple panels on page 8?   Maybe Eric T's giving us a plot point from the upcoming Superman event.

October 27, 2009 9:03 am @Prax  Didn't we just see Krona as the big bad in Trinity?  Surely Johns won't go back to the same villian we just a couple of weeklies ago.

The blackboard is back again in this issue with some new topics.  Anyone have a guess as to how they are going to play out?

April 21, 2009 12:26 am For those of you that haven't checked out ACTION yet, you'd better wake up and smell the coffee!  As a DCBS'er, I'm a little late to the party, but this issue rocked.  I really liked Chris' defining who he is to Ursa /bio-mom; the layout for action sequences were STELLAR; and the writing for the cliff-hanger really powerful.  It's still the frontrunner ve. GLC #35 (because I haven't read it yet at this point....), but Rucka is knocking ACTION outta the park!  Who knew this ACTION without Superman could be so good?  Great issue!!

@devinclancy AND ohcaroline - Spot on!   To me this seems like Miller's attempt to push his own sense of 'normalcy' into mainstream DCU.   The editors ought to already know what should be the type of story they want in the mainstream lexicon.  Once they found out that ASB&R was outside of that, move it to Veritgo or slap the "Mature Content" label on it.

It's not like the content inside is surprising anyone.
