October 28, 2010 12:02 pm Trying to place one inkers talents over another's is like saying watermelon is better than canteloupe. No other inker could have inked FF like Sinnott or Thor like Colletta. Each inker brings his own unique look to the art and it is what makes comic books great.

October 28, 2010 11:56 am Only someone with passion, character and a huge set of balls would write that letter to his bosses. I understand Colletta was something of a loyal soldier wherever he worked. Too bad these editors sucked so bad that they destroyed a good company (Marvel.) Say what you will about Shooter, Marvel did produce good comics and, thanks to guys like Colletta, they got to the printer on time, every time. Fanboys suck because they hear things and blindly pass them on. Half the people who have said "I hate Vince Colletta" probably have no idea who he was.

October 28, 2010 11:50 am THOR was beautifully inked by Vinnie Colletta, not so much so by Sinnott, Everett, Stone, Jansen and others. There is classic comic book art in those old THOR and Tales of Asgard stories. Colletta also did great work on Daredevil, Batman, The Avengers, Warlord, Wonder Woman, etc. etc.

October 28, 2010 10:16 am Vinnie Colletta was GOD!!! What that guy could do with a pen and brush was sheer beauty. Too bad he got stuck in the comic book industry. Check out the cover of THOR #126. What do you fools know anyway?
