September 21, 2012 12:51 pm Pulls on this series seem to be dropping. I have to admit that it has been on the bubble for me. Not really sure where the story is going now. That being said this issue was great. It may have new life.

September 21, 2012 12:46 pm I think Seeley has done a good job serializing the story. I am not sure that this series is going to fit neatly into 4 to 6 issue story arcs so the trades could leave you with the same feeling, just a much longer wait between books.

August 29, 2012 4:25 pm I enjoyed the first issue but was going to pass on the rest of the series because I can't buy everything. The preview convinced me to give it another chance and l am on board for the rest of the series. Well played Mr. Wiebe.

It would be one thing if they said that they are canceling the book but creators say they need x issues to finish the story and the only way to do it is to increase the price. If you are reading a lot of image books should you be concerned about being blindsided by numerous $1 price jumps for low selling books? Not a good business model.

August 27, 2012 8:50 pm Thanks Conor. Looking at Glory's monthly sales estimates, it shows a steady decline with only 3,973 in June and a drop out of the top 300 in July.

August 27, 2012 7:26 pm Image's website still lists this issue and future issues at 2.99 so this must have been a recent decision. According to the sales estimates Prophet sells just over 6,000 per issue. I can see how this might not be viable. It is odd though that the first issue sold out with estimated sales of 6,020. It seems to me that sales are pretty much what they expected when they priced it at 2.99 so why the panic increase? Perhaps the first trade orders are low?

August 3, 2012 3:34 pm The colors have seemed to tie in so far which makes the Legacy teaser hard to pin down. I am guessing that it is Wolverine.
