As another reviewer stated somewhere else on the internet, “I can’t believe no one thought of this before.” The story is set in the present. The US decides that they have lost too much money and lives fighting the violence in the Middle East, so they deploy a secret weapon in the dead of the night. Airdropped ZOMBIES! The catch is they disintegrate when exposed to sunlight; or at least in theory. They story is created/written by the creator of Underworld (the awesome vampire/werewolf flick), Kevin Grevioux. The art is good, but also very standard in my opinion. This was a good first issue. However, it read very quickly (especially as there were a few pages in the middle with no text at all). If you are still digging the zombie craze in comics (as I am), dug Underworld, like current events mixed with fiction and/or enjoy what Red5 Comics has been putting out thus far (I recommend Atomic Robo) this is worth a read.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good

  1. Aw man, I read about this a few weeks ago & wanted to pick it up, the idea is awesome. I didn’t even know it came out last week! Hopefully I can find a copy …

  2. Thank you for this review.

Because of it, I have read the book, and told all of my zombie loving friends about it. We all love it.

  3. @WadeWilson: if you can’t find one check out heavyink.com (see the link on this page). I just ordered the Atomic Robo TPB from there for 20% with free shipping (on all orders). They have all the Red5 Comics stuff there plus other companies.

@Unoob: Glad you liked it. Thanks for help to spread the word, this looks to be a fun series.
