From the start Young Liars has been a WEIRD comic, but this issue took the cake, most certainly but it seems the weirder and more extreme the book gets the more enjoyable it gets.

This was a comic where I came away going ‘wait, what?’ but in a good entertaining way. I’m curious to see if we get back into the earlier story later, but for now, it seems that maybe apros of nothing Young Liars is just going to be a case of sticking Lapham’s new favorite character in different types of stories and pointing her in different directions. And frankly, I’m game for it, if it’s as good as this and the earlier story were.

This was quite solidly my pick of the week.
