Good lord this issue was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

 I've been really enjoying these stories, and they've ranged from pretty good to freaking amazing, with this issue falling firmly in the latter.

Not only did this give a modernization of a Golden Age concept in a really compelling way, but it also gave me one of those moments I don't see nearly enough, Cap interacting with soldiers.

The action was great, but the way the men were with each other was just touching. I choked up twice during the main story.

I know I talked about how good Stern's Cap run was in my issue 600 review, but this here was even more amazing.

The art was so perfect for this issue.

There really isn't anyway to describe how perfect the main story was.
