I’m kind of glad this comic is ending. No it’s not because I didn’t like it, I loved it. The writing in this final issue is as creepy as ever and the art is the main reason I ended up buying the whole run.

But the thing is that I don’t think I would have bought the next run with the same team, if it had come out. I am almost exhausted with the weirdness of this issue, and Irving is one of my favorite artists, but one of the reasons I love comics is the variety.

Six issues were perfect for this story and it would make an awesome gift as a Hardcover trade.

One comment is that I feel this book should not be in the DC universe because with all the amazing super natural things happening in it, the whole story just seemed like an afterthought.

An asshole takes over a fantastic world. He ruins it. A bunch of freaks beat him, and then restore the world.

I’d still like to see these characters in Dark Justice League.
