“You’re all such cliches and don’t even know it!” Oh, we know it all right. That’s kind of the reason I’m still enjoying this. This is a story with a lot of factions and a lot of plot — who was or was not abducted? What does everybody want? Who are the Men in White working for? — and it helps to have a cast of simple, uncomplicated characters at the centre of it all to keep everything grounded. This issue zeroes in a little more on Junior, who gets a chance to chomp some cigars, shoot some guns and go out in a blaze of glory. It’s cartoony gore and violence, but it’s something. And it’s enough for me.
