Wow this book is classic!  The art is superb and really jives with an older feel that evokes these classic heroes.  Also, every frame is incredibly well done with great backgrounds.  The frame with Spiderman near the window of some random pimps apartment, looking in to watch Jameson and Kraven on the news, is just priceless.  The frames with all of our characters managed to portray chaotic action without being a jumbled mess.

I felt every character was well written and classic without feeling stale or over done.  I won’t give anything away, but this was an excellent 1st issue with a clear lead in to issue 2 without telegraphing what will happen next.  Let me just say that everyone who like super hero comics should tune in for this 4 part mini-series.

  1. This book had anice opening set up, it was timed right after the end of the original series and before the death of Gwen Stacy, which I thought was a nice touch.  Then they blew it by having Mr. Sinister as the man behind the scenes, I will not pick the second issue.
