Art wise this is arguably Kubert’s worst work.

Story wise. Too much is left up in the air (like why are some siding with Wolverine and others with Cyclops). I understand “all” will be explained in re-genesis but it makes the conclusion far from satisfying.

Furthermore the notion that the motivations for the new Hellfire Club were purely capitalistic is underwhelming. It basically turns the baddest villains on the block into a bunch of bank robbers.

I really wanted to believe that this was going to bring me back to reading X-Men. Unfortunately, It’s only pushed me further away.
