The first mini was good, but not my favorite of the Noir line. With this entry we get what a good sequel should do: expand upon what was established before and run with it further. Van Lente gives us the obligatory “hey, look who’s noir!” cameos, but he also crafts a really good story that I could easily see written in the 30’s and 40’s. He’s upped the stakes for Angel and the X-Men and I can’t wait to see where he goes with this story.
