Great wrap up to an underrated run. The plot is a simple, effective bit of super-heroics, but Christos Gage does a very nice job bringing a degree of closure to Rogue’s arc while teeing her up for further adventures in Uncanny Avengers.
David Baldeon continues to do very nice work here, delivering a look that blends well with the art style in Wolverine and The X-Men – Legacy’s de facto Older Sibling in the X-franchise. I think Baldeon is definitely an artist to watch, so I hope we see him on another book soon.

Well said. Cage (and Carey before him) have really rounded out Rogue’s character over the past few years. The book has become a sort of “Marvel Presents: Rogue and “insert guest star(s)” here. But most of the time, the stories told us just as much about those other characters as it did Rogue. I feel like I know things about Magneto, Carol Danvers, Magik, Gambit, Cyclops, and Wolverine that I wouldn’t if it weren’t for their recent interactions with Rogue in this book.
