Great wrap up to an underrated run. The plot is a simple, effective bit of super-heroics, but Christos Gage does a very nice job bringing a degree of closure to Rogue’s arc while teeing her up for further adventures in Uncanny Avengers.

David Baldeon continues to do very nice work here, delivering a look that blends well with the art style in Wolverine and The X-Men – Legacy’s de facto Older Sibling in the X-franchise. I think Baldeon is definitely an artist to watch, so I hope we see him on another book soon.

  1. Well said. Cage (and Carey before him) have really rounded out Rogue’s character over the past few years. The book has become a sort of “Marvel Presents: Rogue and “insert guest star(s)” here. But most of the time, the stories told us just as much about those other characters as it did Rogue. I feel like I know things about Magneto, Carol Danvers, Magik, Gambit, Cyclops, and Wolverine that I wouldn’t if it weren’t for their recent interactions with Rogue in this book.
