This was very entertaining in the ways AVX: Versus isn’t. This issue is sort of a rematch with C ranking Avengers (and Iron Man) against, mainly Rogue. Christos Gage writes very well how the Jean Grey School knows they’re outmatched and Rogue is forced to go all out to contend with these guys, mainly Iron Man. Also I would like to see Christos Gage write a Moon Knight story, because there was a funny scene with him and Gambit that involved spiked brass knucks. Rafa Sandoval does a good job on art as well. All the punches to the face and repulsor blasts are drawn very very well with great detail. I also have to give props to Rachelle Rosenberg who does the colors. I like a green Rogue. I’m only reading X-Men Legacy because of the AVX tie-in and I’m glad I am. Last issue didn’t hold my attention as much, but this issue grabbed me and forced me to pay attention to all the great action.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. I don’t know, as a She-Hulk fan I thought she went down far too easily. This seemed to be an issue to pump Rogue up at the cost of everyone else.
