Picking up almost immediately after this week’s issue of Wolverine & The X-Men, this issue is everything that issue isn’t.

It seems that Marvel is trying to use this month’s issues of the X books to show why each character on the X-Men chose the side of the AvX battle that they chose. But while Wolverine & The X-Men shows you, X-Men Legacy tells you. And tells you. And tells you.

I understand adding one of those little editorial boxes to tell you how Rogue battled the Avengers way back before the current editor was born, but…well, the editorial box was the best piece of writing in this issue.

Like a lover who keeps coming back no matter how bad they’ve been treated previously, I keep hoping Legacy is oging to get better, but it’s been pretty much garbage since they added the word “Legacy” to the title. I read it to keep up with continuity in the X-books, and, sadly, that’s all this title really offers is continuity.
