It’s well past time to pull Mike Carey off of X-Men.  I really enjoyed Lucifer, and his Hellblazer run was great, but he just doesn’t write interesting X stories.  The Danger vs. Rogue plot is a really interesting concept being portrayed in a really dull manner. 

There are several flashback scenes in this title, where he rips panels from Claremont and Whedon.  And it makes me nostalgic for Claremont.  Do you hear that Carey?   Nostalgic for Claremont.  That’s how bad your title has become.  I don’t even care about Rogue.  And that’s a damned crime.

I also have no idea why the aliens are in this storyline.  Future plot device?  Ugh.
