A pretty standard story for an act 1, get a team together kinda thing. I rather liked the writing, Pixie has become more interesting to me in the last four months than I had anticipated, I’m not fully caught up on why everyone is down on Ilyanna so I look forward to development of her character and relationships with others as the Marvel U continues.

My gripe with this book is the art. I’ve wiped my ass and seen better when I checked the wad to see if I was clean yet or not. Seriously Yost deserves better. How frustrating must it be to turn out a script that you like, or that you think is adequate and then see a book like this afterwords.  It’s as if Tolibao has cerebal palsy. Ever character resembles a retarded cat with down  syndrome. Really bad art, like… really.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 1 - Poor

  1. Helpful life hint: Check your toilet paper wad less often. Not really necessary.

But, no, I really did not like Tolibao’s art at all. Liked the Buscema art in the back much better, and Sal probably busted that out in a weekend.
