This issue sees Angel leaving the team. For good? Hard to say. If so, what direction will they take this series? Are they gong to introduce new characters? Is this going to become a bona fide alternate tot he Ultimate universe? These are the questions I'm left with. As for the issue itself, it was fun, with a little bit of a lost world/savage land mojo going on. Angel searches for his lost adventurer aunt and finds an underground word beneath the waterfalls of Peru. The rest of the X-men team track him down eventually, but he's found a happy place and doesn't want to leave. I have to say, not a lot seemed to happen in this issue. No major drama or anything, but I guess it was pretty much exploring Angel's character. The art was great. Nice to see Cruz back again. I can't wait for more.
