As a person who is interested in Xmen and loves herself some (well-written) vampire stories, this should be a tailor-made introduction to all things X.

BUT

This is pretty boring, right?

I feel like I spent the issue shoving the vampire things aside to get more X, and when you’re peeling off the chocolate coating to get to the pill, something is wrong.

  1. I’m with you on this.  I’d be happy to read a good X-Men vs. Vampires story, and this *looks* pretty nice, but there’s neither enough character or enough action to keep  me interested.  Even something that should be a big deal, like Cyclops deciding to resurrect Dracula so that he can fight the other vampires, which ought to be a big deal, feels random.
