During Peter David's original run in X-Factor, Quicksilver became one of my favorite characters. Because of this, I was really looking forward to this one-shot. Unfortunately, the same writer who crafted the best Quicksilver story I've ever read (X-Factor #87) also turned out probably the least interesting one. This story seemed only to exist to reset Quicksilver's status and could've been done as a back-up or part of Marvel Comics Presents or something in half the space.
Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 2 - Average
Art: 2 - Average
Granted this was a little self-indulgent, but given David’s history with this character, I cut him a little slack in that department.
And if it’s a sign that we’re about to seem more of the Maximoff kids in action in the Marvel U, I’ll take it! (Also, the old-school Wanda and Magneto art made me really happy!)
