The latest issue of X- factor was kind of derailed by the art work. This issue was a transitional issue which was suppose to heightening the danger the team currently faces, but the work just sis not jive. I was initially going to rail on Paul Davidson, but upon checking out his website, he definitely has illustration chops, but maybe he needs to improve the comic story telling strengths. The visuals just didn’t translate to the comics page given his style.
This issue barely got a 3 from me in terms of the overall reading experience, because it’s execution. Being a fan of Peter David made it a 3, but it’s like a strike at the plate. In the end this issue could have been far better. You can do better with this title Marvel.
