This Shatterstar thing: is this a licensing issue? Why else would we continue to use these blade-weilding, ankle/wrist-challenged, impossibly everything-powered Liefeld era relics?

With the abundance of amazing personalities Peter already had/has on this title, why token us with this one?

Did he just need someone to pull out of the “bag-o-ambiguity” to conveniently label gay so the storyline with Richter could play itself out? Why not call on Northstar or some other legitimately gay character (with *character*) to participate? In fact, I think Northstar would have been a great fit to kick Quicksilver out on his ass when he was outed a few years ago (as you can see, I’m pretty faithful to this title).

Shatterstar has no purpose. Please purpose him elsewhere (like, back into the brown bag-o-“whatever” characters — so this title can focus on continuing to improve itself.
