When reading comics in the past, the issue with the death of a major character has always been the high point in an arc. Leave it to Peter David to build the tension even higher after event happens in the very next issue. I’ve rarely seen it in most of the comics I have read in the past. This series has been a testament to how a great comic title can build upon itself.
The art work in the pages of this comic are great, thumbs way up to Leonard Kirk, Matt Milla and Cory Petit. Beautiful cover done by David Yardin.
If you like to read good stories with fully fleshed out characters X-factor the book.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. Most comic writers who started in a certain era tend to seem dated when read years later, yet Peter David just keeps getting better and better. I actually think, all things considered, he is the best writer working today. Bar none. I agree with you 100 about X-Factor, great book!

  2. Yeah, he does, I wonder if it has anything to do with him writing for other mediums besides comics. When I would compare my dc,marvel and independent stack, I over looked X-factor as a Marvel comic on almost every occasion. It has such a strong voice. Just a great read month to month.
