As much as I enjoyed the reimagining of characters and the X-Universe in the first issue, this issue tries to tell too much story in too little space.  When reinventing a franchise with hundreds of characters, it’s best to start with a very small group and then radiate outwards.  This story has dozens of characters right away, and how they interact is pretty dizzying.  I won’t be picking up the remaining two issues.
