Wow was this a pleasant surprise. I’ve been LOVING Phil Noto’s ‘sketches’ on this tumblr, and seeing his work in a comic was ironically surreal. (I was under the incorrect impression that he was purely a pin up artist).

In any case, I’m all dried up on the event tie-ins, and heard somewhere X-23 is a solid character-driven book as well as a lot of fun.

While it’s a bit hard to jump into a story during the second chapter, I still enjoyed the hell out of this comic. Had it only had a story central to this book on its’ own, it would have been damn near perfect for me.
