After the big crossover event with Daken,  X-23 issue 10 jumps right into another story arc.  Liu is a great story teller, the emotinal ride the she puts you through in this issue is great, you can tell that  x-23 is defnitly going through some tough  times.  I think the interaction between Gambit and x-23 is very real like you can tell that he cares for her and doesn’t want to see her in any pain, there is a big brother feel to his character, and now i see the reason why Liu chose him to acompany x-23 on this journey.  There is also a  long over due guest apperance in this issue that just adds another great element to the mix.  The art style in this issue,  is usally not my pint of beer, but it works with this story, i really enjoyed the artist style, it fit perfectly with Liu’s writing style.  All in all a must read, if your not reading X-23 this is a great starting point to jump on.
