I picked up this book never having played WoW in my life. I wanted a decent fantasy comic, and knowing a little bit about the backstory of the game I went ahead and bought the series. This issue ends the first arc of series, but is more like the ends of Captain America's arcs were it's not a true ending. We see the quest for Lo' Gosh's identity end, as well as Valeera's hunt of the assassin. This issue was light on action, and was more of an exposition piece. We have some questions answered but not all. We now know who Lo'Gosh is, but not who attacked him. The assassin is dead, but we don't know who hired him. I like how we get to see new locations in this issue, and they are presented in a way that doesn't leave a novice like me lost. A few new quests are set up, but they seem like continuations of old ones.

The art on the other hand is pretty good. I like the semi-cartoony style used here. The main problem with it is that characters within a race are pretty similar facially. Their hair, clothes and other features distinguish them, but if all we saw was the face lot of the people here would look very similar. Otherwise the art highlights the fantasy aspects of this series.

I bought the first issue of this series looking for a good fantasy. Here we are six issues later, and I'm still undecided on if WoW is what I am looking for. I like the characters and the art, but the story is fairly generic, and is moving slowly. The series is good enough for me to pick up the second arc, which will hopefully deliver the epic story I'm looking for.
