Starting with the retcon of Diana parentage. Wonder Woman has taken a lot of heat from people.

It’s undeserved.

This is a classic Greek Hero’s Journey. Where the arrogence and deceit of many has come to a head Diana (as the hero) been caught in the cross-fire.

As events have unfolded, the illusions Diana has unknowingly built her life upon are stripped away and at some point she will be left to define herself anew.

That’s how the Greek told stories and that’s what has made this run so enjoyable. It’ll only be more enjoyable when Chiang returns from his break from the book.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. Good review. Agree.

  2. I can’t believe i’m collecting WW!!!! So good!

    • At the comic book store where I shop, the stack of new WW comics was as high as the stack of new Justice League issues. If demand at the store where I shop is typical, lots more people are reading Wonder Woman.
