Wonder Woman and the Themyscirans as a Moses and the Isrealites parallel?

Yup, JMS is going epic on this one. He’s not holding back. There are so many themes bouncing up against one another, the main concern becomes overcrowding. So far so good! He’s managed to streamline the plot and mystery enough to include exhilarating character moments and stunning action sequences in both issues. Add to the equation Kramer’s elegant, crisp lines and Sinclair’s subtly complex use of textures in his coloring, the result is a layered, swift reading experience.

We’re in for a good ride folks!

  1. That is a cool premise and that makes me want to try this book out.

I dig on that cover too.

  2. @Scorpion: If you do decide to pick it up, type up a review if you can. Always nice to discuss different points of view on a book! 🙂

  3. I might pick up 601 and 602 this week. If I like it, maybe I’ll drop a review for 603 in a few weeks.
