First off I want to give credit to Aaron Lopresti on his art.  He has quickly become one of the definitive Wonder Woman artists.  He is able to give Diana a sense of strength and make her beautiful without making her look sleazy.  (I'm looking at you Deodato!) 

Now onto Gail Simone.  She has worked wonders (sorry, couldn't resist!) with this book.  She has taken the tattered remains that were left of WW after the Heinberg, Picoult, & Amazons Attack debacles and turn it into a book that I get excited about EVERY month. 

Specific to this issue, Diana is such a bad ass.  She's beaten and her hands are burnt badly.  So what does she do?  Have Phillipus tie her axe to one hand and her lasso to the other!  Love it!

Gail constructed an arc in "Rise of the Olympian" that has really changed things for Diana.  Donna is furious, Etta is seriously injured, Tom no longer her beau, Apes gone(?), and she's no longer an Amazon! 

I can't wait to see where Gail & Aaron take us next.
