Now that this is officially a word, I have to say: "Meh". It's early, but the treatment of Genocide has done little to dissuade concerns that this villain would be little more than a poor man's Doomsday... and that comes from someone who thought this character was a good idea when it was first hinted at in DCU #0. On top of that, there's little else I care about here. The Olympians were in space? Really? That just seems... silly. Also, I still don't see the point of, or why I should be interested in Wonder Woman's alter-ego. I'm hoping this gets better once the Justice League comes in next issue, as in my opinion Simone's writing is better when she's focusing less closely on Wonder Woman herself, who I still think she respects to much to write in fresh and interesting ways at most times.

I thought the Genocide stuff was OK, but I agree with the rest of your review. Her alter-ego has ruined this book. It’s just … so out of place. This book was awesome when Rucka was on it & she was ALWAYS Wonder Woman, & her "day job" was an ambassador. This MHA stuff is ass-backwards. She has a secret identity where she does the same job as Wonder Woman does … but in a less effective way. Awesome idea.
Bring back Rucka.
