Ok, I'm in. That's the gist of my review. I've been a little hesitant about this title since Gail Simone took over, but she assuaged my fears with her recent issues. I went back and reread #19-21 of Gails' run and I can see that she's setting up her Wondy-verse here. She's referencing Diana's history and recent events in a way that is not too complicated, but still within continuity. (Taco Whiz, Amazon Attacks)
For anyone having doubts, I'm saying wait it out...It seems obvious to me that she's been using these first couple of arcs to set up long term stories. The Gorillas & Grodd will be back, her allegiance to Kane Milohai, & Alkyone's hate for Diana will all play a part in whatever Gail is cooking up.
I love Lopresti's Diana. His custom borders around the panels add to the fantasy feel of this book.
My one exception: The seashell vehicle. Bring back the invisible jet please!!
Art: 5 - Excellent

Yeah, I agree. She’s setting up an identity and supporting cast that seems to have been lacking lately. Gail’s really starting to hit her stride here. It’s pretty mindblowing the way she makes fighting seem compassionate. And I love any writer that writes the fight scenes. My favorite issue so far is the one where she fights the green lantern.
