Azarello and Chiang seemed to have decided that for Zero Month they would take a rather Golden Age story (Young Diana meeting a divine mentor) giving it their own slant. The art looked like Chiang’s take on comics in the forty and fifties and the basic plot felt very old school but it felt very much like the Wonder Woman I’ve grown accustomed to in the last year.

All in all, this book was awesome and still managed to forward the story by setting up the next arc.

Seriously, this was awesome. Right up there with Snyder’s Batman Zero.
