This book left absolutely no impression on me. I’m not burned out on
Noir books and I’m not burned out on Wolverine books, but nothing about
this book left any lasting mark on me. I just finished reading it 2
minutes ago, and already I’ve forgotten most of the stuff that occured
in the book. The art was fine, but I don’t like Wolverine’s stubble to
look so sparse and scraggly. It makes him look more like a homeless
person than anything else. As for the main story, the art made it
unclear if he hooked up with the girl from the martial arts place or if
that scene only lasted a few seconds. Regardless, we all knew she’d end
up dead the moment she kissed him. Having Creed beat him senseless may
be a Noir staple, but it also isn’t at all engaging from a plot point
of view
