Lots of blood and familiar violence aas Old Man Logan beats up on the Hulkbilly families.  Cool plot points?  Nope.  Awesome looking Hulk fight?  Nope.

Just a mediocre Wolverine comic.  Severely disappointing after waiting five months since the last issue.

    Maybe because tons of blood and gore for the sake of tons of blood and gore is not necessarily great "art" no matter how detailed and pwetty it is? Just a guess. I haven’t read this issue yet, and generally like (not love) OML, but heaps of splash pages showcasing violence generally make my eyes roll.

    @edward – Guernica was not tons of blood and gore for the sake of tons of blood and gore. Guernica was done for the sake peace and anti-fascism. To compare one ot the greatest artistic works of the 20th century, who’s blood and gore were to show the massacre of a defenseless town by a fascist regime, with OML, who’s blood and gore were just for the sake of tons of blood and gore, is simply irresponsable.

    @Kickass: It’s true that it’s very typical of me to give low points to bad storytelling.  I acknowledge that you are a fan of violence for the sake of violence.  As such, you should read my reviews, and realize they are the opposite of your taste.  Not good or bad, just different.

    You should also acknowledge that I don’t feel the need to go online and pretend to be a fictional character, and harass people.  This is the last time I’ll waste time replying to you.

    @edward: I gave the art a 3 because it was merely good.  It did border on a four for me, and if I were in a better mood, I probably would have bumped it up.    Specifically, I don’t like the way he drew Wolverine’s face.  But that’s nitpicky, he did draw some excellent Hulkbillies.
