Man, I was very disappointed with this issue.

I loved David’s original run on Wolverine back in the day, but this
just came off as shoe horning in a Madripor story into the early era
for no real reason.

The timeline is all sorts of fucked up for me here
as I’ve never associated Patch with being around before Australian era
of X-Men.

 None of that would have mattered too much if the story was
really good, but it just seemed like a treading water issue than any
actual story.

I’m very happy that Peter didn’t feel the need to make a
2 Wongs make a right pun, but that’s about all that I can say that was
good about this issue.

The art was pretty bland, and the eye patch
looked painted on and an after thought. It wasn’t bad, but I was
expecting more.
