Okay, I have to admit. I read the scene where 'Logan' stabs the anonymous woman and went, "WOLVERINE WOULD NEVER DO THAT! THIS WRITER SUCKS!"
And I knew it was a Mystique story. I'm kind of embarrassed.
This is the first new 'Wolverine' solo comic I've ever bought, and I think I'm on at least for the duration of this arc. The back and forth with Wolverine and Mystique has a lot of potential -- though I'm kind of amused they finally had Logan kill Sabretooth then promptly have Mystique acting like his new/old Sabretooth.
I'm happy with Garney, except for his Cyclops. Then, only Cassaday has ever been able to make that body-condom look good.
And I knew it was a Mystique story. I'm kind of embarrassed.

I did exactly the same thing.
Hearing savvy comic readers say they got fooled makes me feel better, and also it makes me more impressed with the issue, the more I let it sink in – I’ve had a resurgent love of Wolverine lately, and I’m glad this title is letting me indulge it since not many others are.
I third the motion; I was fooled too.
