I really love this series but I wish Christopher Mitten was still drawing it instead of just doing these excellent covers. I’m not a fan of what Russel Roehling is doing here. It’s not gritty enough. It’s too simplified and I think Michael’s expressions are just wrong in a few parts of this book. Since when does Michael smile even if he is saved from death by Abi?! It feels like this book is being given the “let’s just finish it” treatment.
