Say what you will, but this issue did deliver on one thing if nothing
else.
Punching.
Lot's of punching.
This issue kind of pissed me off. Not because it was bad, far from it, it's just that I've invested half a year into reading this and the real rap up of this is going to be in one shot. They've done this with One Man Logan, and we're still waiting for the end of that.
Still, there was an ending to the story, just no real wrap up. I'm glad that the Vulcan appears to be dead, even though dealing with a rip in reality sets this series for the easiest of all sci fi resurrection premises. No body, no death with the added caveat there was a huge explosion that destroyed any evidence of a body.
Still the last battle was appropriately epic between these two. The art was a large part of why this issue was excellent. Any less proficient art and this issue would have been all the more unsatisfying. As it is, I'm waiting another month for my denoumont.

this review is pretty much exactly what I would have said. I’ll add one thing: What was the point of Crystal deactivating the terragen crystals? It seemed like she felt that she had nullified the weapon and it would explode harmlessly in space. But the explosion still did a lot of harm.
Also, I feel like this series kind of de-humanized and alienated Blackbolt as a character, and I’ve really always liked him. The stuff he did here, I couldn’t see him doing.
